Oh my. I do hope that this has not been a big problem. if so i apologize to all.
I wrote the program and uploaded the file for Avon to take a look at,
as such i placed the space in the file name.

inside of tic. I wont make that mistake again.
I made the little program for my own use and then thought it may also be of use to others and wanted to contribute in some way to the mystic BBS scene. I hope this clears up who is at fault for the space in the name. lesson learned...
Thanks for standing up to your mistake. That takes guts. And it's nice to know where this mystery began.
@Avon do you have any idea to fix this for us Linix/Raspi user? For Linux the files with Space are diverent handelt as under Windows. We need a underline "_" as replacement of spaces in the Filename to Process probbery File Tossing.

If you are wanting to appeal to the majority, its best to hatch files meeting the old DOS 8.3 format. That probably has the widest acceptance. If you want to preserve the long filename, put it in a zip/archive file that meets 8.3

I think having this happen has been a good thing on a number of levels
as it hopefully surfaces some stuff that can be fixed and also gives me pause to check that at the very least, if I am to hatch a file the is longer than the old DOS 8.3 convention, that it's a file name with no spaces.

For me the lesson is to ensure I hatch files with no spaces, I don't personally mind long file names as I think it's 2022 and mailers and software should be able to deal with it. I know some can't but still... yeah... meh.
FWIW, it improted fine into Synchronet v3.19:
So all is not lost. :-)
